Aaradhya Charitable Trust helped a divyanga to set up a grocery store and provided all grocery items to Tarun Dagra, 33, of Thana Thana village under Durgadaspur Panchayat in Pipili Block of Puri district, who had met with an accident and has been lying on a sick bed for 13 years to make himself self-reliant.

ACT rescued youth who suffered severe burn injury, rehabilitated him to a Shelter Home

Members of Aaradhya Charitable Trust rescued a youth from Railway Station area near Laxmi Sagar area who suffered severe burn injury in his feet due to Fits. Gradually his feet wounds turned into Foot Ulcer. After local people informed about the sensitive issue to Raja Babu, a journalist from KNews, he called me about the youth. Sad thing was that he was remained hungry for last 6 days. We immediately reached there, called to ambulance, taken him to Capital Hospital, Bhubaneswar and after his dressing rehabilitated him to neaeby 'Shelter Home for the homeless people'. He will go for dressing from there to hospital in each 2 days.

A Bhubaneswar based teacher and privileged member of Aaradhya Charitable Trust will provide online classes to students freely other than school time so that studies of the student do not hamper.

ACT provided a Battery Operated Wheelchair to a Divyang (Goutam Singh) of Olatpur who lost complete sensation in his leg. His nerve system in both legs got totally damaged. He was selected and played at the 2nd National Wheelchair Rugby Championship-2019 held at Patna in Bihar from 22nd to 24th February 2019. We also felicitated other three Divyangs (Sujit kumar Nanda, Prasanta Nayak and Udaya kumar Rout) for playing national level Rugby.

Kanhu Swain, a differently abled man who lives in Phulleswari Slum of Patrapada in Bhubaneswar City, worked as a daily wage laborer but he lost his ability to walk in an accident in 2020 due to 80% spinal injury. He is now living a life of great misery with his 3 years son and wife. The Aradhya Charitable Trust has extended a helping hand to these divyang. CIS Pipes and essential medicines have been provided to him on behalf of the Trust.
