About Us

Aaradhya Charitable Trust (ACT) is a registered voluntary organization based in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. The trust was formed in 2014 (Regd No. 41081407151) and since then organizing different voluntary works for the upliftment of the society.

The Trust started a free coaching centre at Jharigam village of the tribal dominated Nabarangpur district to give additional education to the needy children on regular basis, who are deprived of this facility due to lack of money. As many as 60 students are getting free education there.

Aaradhya Charitable Trust (ACT) started 'Free Computer Education' for educated students in remote areas where the students are not able to go town to get Computer Education due to distance and poverty.

The Trust have a target to complete the basic computer education including MS Offfice within a duration of 3 months. Trust will provide valid certificate to them so that they will get an employment.

After 3 months completion in this GP the Trust will start this in an another Grama Pachayat where there have educated students are available and they have interest to get Computer Education.

The members of Aaradhya Charitable Trust also provided relief materials to the affected slum dwellers in Bhubaneswar who lost their houses in a massive fire mishap. At least 25 houses were gutted in fire.

The organization is organizing free health camps for poor people, Jala Chhatra (Free Water Kiosk), Blood Danationa Camps every year. ACT also distributes clothes to the slum dwellers, blankets and winter wears to the homeless people every year who lives life in the extreme winter season at the road side.

Besides, the Trust also celebrating all special days, organizing competitions and provide awards.

Sagarika Satapathy is the Managing Trustee of ACT. A first class with distinction (topper) in Master in Social Work (MSW) & PG Diploma in Human Rights from IIHR, Delhi. She started working for the society in KBK District of Kalahandi and Balangir. Later she shifted to Bhubaneswar and registered ACT. A group of volunteers support her in the mission.
